Description of Services

DigicamFX provides a free, online Digicam effect editor with the following features:

Digicam Effect Editor: Apply vintage camera effects with one-click presets (Digicam, CCD, Y2K) and fine-tune parameters (Grain, JPEG Artifacts, Color Shift, Vignette)
Real-Time Preview: Instant visual feedback of effect changes without processing delays—all processing occurs in your browser
Image Upload: Support for JPG, PNG, and WebP formats (max 15MB per file)
Image Export: Export processed images in WebP format (max edge 1200px) with a watermark in the bottom-right corner
No Registration Required: All features are available without creating an account

User Accounts (Optional)

Optional Registration

Account registration is optional—you can use all Digicam Effect Editor features without an account
If you choose to register, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials (if you choose to register)
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Acceptable Use Policy

You May

Use our Services for lawful personal or commercial purposes
Upload images you own or are authorized to edit
Download and use your processed images
Share processed images according to your ownership rights

You May NOT

Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content (including content depicting minors or third-party rights without authorization)
Create misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent content
Attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or bypass security/usage limits
Use automated tools to scrape or abuse our Services
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

Intellectual Property & Your Content

Your Content

You retain full ownership of images you upload and process
No Server Upload: Images are processed entirely in your browser—they are never uploaded to our servers
We do not access, store, or share your images
You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to the content you upload
Uploaded images must be in supported formats (JPG, PNG, WebP) and not exceed 15MB per file

Our Services

DigicamFX's software, algorithms, and Services are protected by intellectual property laws
Our trademarks, logos, and branding may not be used without permission
Exported images may include a watermark in the bottom-right corner

Free Service

DigicamFX is completely free to use. There are:

No subscription fees
No credit purchases required
No payment processing
No billing or invoices

All features of the Digicam Effect Editor are available at no cost, without registration.

Data Processing and Privacy

Image Processing

Client-Side Processing: All image processing occurs entirely in your browser using Canvas APIs
No Server Storage: Images are never uploaded to our servers and are not stored or processed on our infrastructure
Complete Privacy: Your images remain on your device throughout the editing process

Personal Data

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy
Only minimal data is collected (e.g., newsletter email addresses if you subscribe)
No payment or billing data is collected since the service is free

Service Availability and Performance

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
Processing occurs in your browser, so performance may vary based on your device capabilities and image size
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available"

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Since this is a free service, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
We are not responsible for any loss of data, images, or content
Processing occurs in your browser—you are responsible for maintaining backups of your images

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DigicamFX from claims arising out of:

Your use of the Services in violation of these Terms
Content you upload or process
Your violation of laws or third-party rights

Termination

By You

You may stop using the Services at any time
If you have an optional account, you may delete it at any time

By Us

We may suspend or restrict access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we cease offering the Services

Effect of Termination

You will no longer have access to the Services
Any data associated with an optional account will be deleted per our Privacy Policy
Since images are processed in your browser, no image data needs to be deleted from our servers (as we never stored it)
Relevant provisions survive termination

Mediation: If unresolved, the parties agree to mediation
Arbitration: Binding arbitration for disputes (if applicable)
Small Claims: Either party may pursue eligible claims in small claims court

Changes to Terms

General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms + Privacy Policy form the entire agreement
Severability: Invalid provisions are severed; the rest remain effective

Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver
